Have an abundance of USB devices but a shortage of ports? It’s a charging conundrum that plagues many tech enthusiasts—and with the new Power Console and USB Hub, Eleks has the solution Read More
It’s $60 and has 10 ports. Please use some common sense. Other hubs on the market with 3.0 and C/thunderbolt are triple the price. Usb 2.0 is fantastic because the vast majority of devices still function normally, and looking at the quantity of them you can’t really complain.
iwendtoh really? Where’s the link then? Find my a $60 usb hub with this much shit packed on with the build quality to match. Yeah I’ll wait for this “day and ages” options
LukeMmMoving the goal posts a bit, aren't you? You didn't specify that they had to match the build quality or esthetic.
But personally, I'm running a 50 dollar hub off Amazon, with 10 ports, 3x USB 3.1, 4x USB 3.0, 3 charging ports, individually switched, and it comes with a power adapter as well. So while it may not look as pretty, it has more data ports, faster speeds, charges faster, and includes a power adapter, for 10 dollars less. That's hardly "triple the price". Oh, two of the 3.1 ports are USB-C as well.
There are numerous other examples available from Amazon and Newegg. They just don't look as cool, but their capabilities sure as hell exceed this one.
LukeMmReally, ad hominem over a USB hub? Alright, well since you're such an adult and wise in the ways of the internet, I assumed you had the capacity to do a simple search. I'm certainly not going to spoon feed someone as worldly as you. That'd be insulting. Have fun with your outdated, but pretty, USB hub.
LukeMmNo need to be rude. Stating opinions and claiming them as fact is not a good winning argument.
the fact is it’s a usb hub for charging. If all one is doing is charging, it really doesn’t matter if it is usb 3.0 or not, as 3.0 is backwards compatible with 2.0. Unless a device specifically calls for a 3.0 charger in order to work, which I am not aware of, then maybe…
what you are paying 60$ for here is the style and the little oled screen that provides you basic data on your devices power draw and battery. You aren’t paying 60$ for the quality or quantity. and this is what I was saying about your opinions aren’t facts.
im sure it will be a great product for those that want a cool usb charger hub, but at the end of the day… it’s a usb charger hub.
Does this usb hub give you the ability to plug in more than one computer, and switch the available devices from computer to computer, like from work to gaming pc?
My only opinion the USB hub is beautiful this is the function that I m thinking since I saw this device usually a lot of light that I connect to my PC runs good under USB 2.0 light and some desktop accessories in my "battlestation" sometimes I don't have USB availably in my PC so this devices is perfect to use in all other alternatives basically to provide power to all battlestation accessories and I think thatnis the target 3.0 will be amazing if they can make it but 60 mmmm 🤔 how this looks all work behind eyy we pay a 100 90 dll for a pen for a pen!!! Is not the prices I how much you want to pay for that article and how hot looks in your battle station . Add 60 dll for a keycap. Fuk 69 dll for a fancy device where I can control the power of all my desktop devices amazing 🤩
